Pray for our 2017-18 Team Leaders!

Caleb Ellens

Caleb is from Grand Rapids, Michigan and moved to South Bend to lead Penn ministry in September of 2016. He graduated from Grand Valley State University in the spring of 2016 with an Education degree. Caleb is excited to be recently engaged to his beautiful fiancé, Ali, and they are hoping for a 2018 summer wedding. With have 13 nieces and nephews, Caleb will have no problem finding flower girls and ring bearers. Caleb would love prayers for community building in the Penn area along with faculty and staff relationships.

Anthony LaGuardia

Anthony LaGuardia just graduated from the University of Notre Dame. Next year he will remain in South Bend and will work for the Notre Dame Investment Office. Anthony first came to Christ through Young Life when he was a high school student in Seattle, WA. He started leading at Adams high school this past year and has enjoyed getting to know some of the kids at the school. A prayer request Anthony has is that our team, which is going through a transition as they lose the two previous team leaders, is able to grow in their friendships with current students, while they spread the good news of Christ to new groups of students.

Team Reaume

“Team Reaume” (REEM) directs ministry to college students in Michiana. Bryan and Cassidy met in 3rd grade, grew up in northwest Ohio, spent fourteen years near New York City, and then moved to South Bend in 2015 for Bryan’s job at the University of Notre Dame. Involved in Young Life for two decades, they have led various ministries including high school Young Lifemiddle school WyldLife, and Capernaum. Karina (8) and Parker (7) excel at riding bikes across campus, enjoying Young Life camps, and (somehow) remaining asleep during late-night gatherings of college students. Prayer request: For the leaders of Michiana to continue to grow in love of God, love of each other, and love of “other others.”

Wynn Brown

Wynn Brown is an upcoming junior at Notre Dame from Columbus, Ohio. He is serving as the team leader at Clay High School in South Bend, and he also is a retired beekeeper. He would love prayers for the Clay team: that he can lead the leaders there well, and that relationships with kids can go wide – getting closer to the goal of Young Life to reach every kid with the gospel of Jesus Christ – and deep – because God made us relational beings, and these deep relationships are where the Holy Spirit most often moves.

As we look forward to the 2017-18 ministry season, we are praying prayers of thanks to God for all the incredible growth we have seen this year. We are also praying for His continued blessing and provision for the weeks and months to come. We know He can do so much more than anything we could imagine. THANK YOU for supporting us and praying with and for us.
