The fall season is one of the busiest in the Young Life world. In Michiana, this is no exception. While we have nearly 20 students from Penn High School preparing to head to Timber Wolf Lake next weekend for their first Fall Camp experience, many things are happening here locally!
Last week YL Notre Dame’s Tuesday night event was overflowing with old friends and new faces. The time was filled with fall treats, pumpkin carving and a great message about Jesus feeding the 5000. We are excited about the momentum with college friends and about the 15 potential new leaders starting training this week!
Last weekend students from Adams and Clay high schools had their Fall Overnight retreat. This was a great time to have fun and build community with each other. We want to say a special THANK YOU to Church of the Savior CRC for hosting our event!
To celebrate Halloween Penn hosted a hangout at the White’s home, and Adams and Clay had our first ever “All City” Halloween Club.
You may pray for…
- A prayer of thanksgiving for all God has provided us this semester. Including a consistent club location for Adams HS and Penn.
- Relationships to be built authentically and for our leaders to continue to have eyes for all kids.
- Our new leader training group that begins Thursday, November 3.
- Penn’s Fall Camp trip next weekend, November 11-13 at Timber Wolf Lake.
What we need…
Adults to surround ALL of our clubs (Notre Dame, Penn, Clay and Adams) with helping hands and prayer. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to provide a meal or snack for one of our clubs once a month or more!
Transportation! We are in need of either more drivers to help us transport college and high school aged friends to their respective gatherings OR a couple vans we could use for transportation.
