Praises & Prayer Requests | 1.27.2014

“Prayer is the work.” – Jim Rayburn

We have a lot to be thankful for in our ministry to kids. We also have many needs. Please join us in praising God for his providence and lifting up some requests as well.

  • We are grateful that almost all of our leaders were a part of the leadership retreat this past weekend.  29 of us were present and we enjoyed great fellowship as we planned for the next semester of ministry.
  • We are grateful for Jan and Larry Gates for housing all of us on Friday and Saturday.
  • We are grateful for the Committee and Boosters who tried to make it to us on Saturday, but were unable to complete the trip due to the snow.
  • We are grateful that all of us made it back safely on Saturday in spite of the weather.
  • Please pray for ministry this week. The weather has led us to cancel everything on Monday and school is closed tomorrow. Pray for our volunteers and our kids to stay warm and safe.
  • Pray for our Notre Dame leaders as they navigate some life changes.  Pray also that they will find a space to meet at Notre Dame.
  • Pray for Adams Bagel Club on Thursday.
  • Pray for Schmucker’s Wyld Life Club on Friday.  Pray for confidence for Matt Kempf as he shares his testimony with kids.  And pray for our new leaders as they experience their first leadership opportunity.
  • Our Committee, Booster Chairs, and Team Leaders meet on Saturday to set our area priorities for 2014. Please pray for us as we “sort out and understand the next steps related to several new ministry opportunities” (Steve Ellison, Committee Chair).

Thanks for your prayers and support!
